We may collect account and contact information, subscription and transaction details, family profile information, content that you choose to upload, device and usage data, and support communications.

To provide, secure and improve CloseByHeart.

Payments
Payments are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Paddle may process payment, billing, tax and transaction information under its own privacy terms.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us operate CloseByHeart, where required by law, or when needed to protect our users and service.
Data retention and security
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above and use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it.

You may contact us to request access, correction or deletion of your account information, subject to legal and operational requirements.

Service
CloseByHeart is a software subscription designed to help families stay connected with an older loved one. It does not provide medical care, diagnosis, emergency response services, or professional healthcare advice.
Eligibility and account responsibility
You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide, for protecting access to your account, and for ensuring that content you upload is lawful and that you have permission to share it.
Subscription and billing
CloseByHeart offers a 14-day free trial. Unless canceled before the trial ends, the subscription renews at $29 per month until canceled. Paddle acts as Merchant of Record and processes billing, taxes and payment-related matters.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals; access generally continues through the end of the current paid billing period unless otherwise required by law.
Acceptable use
You may not use CloseByHeart for unlawful, abusive, fraudulent or harmful purposes, or to upload content that infringes another person's rights.
Availability
We aim to keep CloseByHeart available and reliable, but uninterrupted service is not guaranteed. Features may evolve over time.
Limitation
To the extent permitted by law, CloseByHeart is provided without guarantees beyond those expressly stated here, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service.
CloseByHeart includes a 14-day free trial. You are charged $0 during the trial and can cancel before day 15 to avoid the first $29 monthly charge.
After a paid charge
If you believe a charge was made in error, if you were unable to cancel because of a technical issue, or if applicable law gives you a right to a refund, contact us promptly at kobib007@gmail.com. We will review the request fairly and in accordance with applicable law and Paddle's payment procedures.
Cancellation
Canceling stops future renewal charges. Unless a refund is required by law or approved after review, amounts already paid are generally non-refundable and access remains available through the end of the paid billing period.
Payment processor
Paddle is the Merchant of Record for CloseByHeart transactions and may handle refund processing, taxes and payment-related support.
